Confirmation e-mails can sometimes end up in your mail's "spam" folder.  Gmail users in particular have had problems receiving the e-mail, due to the spam folder being hidden with some of the latest Gmail interface modifications. 

If you didn't receive the confirmation at Gmail, look for:

....underneath the "...more" category, you should find:

...you should find your confirmation e-mail in the Spam folder.
